TRUCK

A category C driving license entitles the holder to drive motor vehicles with a total mass exceeding 3500 kg, unless they are intended for the carriage of passengers.

A trailer with a maximum permissible weight not exceeding 750 kg may be attached to this motor vehicle.

GRANTING CONDITIONS

1. age 21 (18 under the conditions below),

2. valid medical examination

3. the applicant holds a group B driving license,

4. usual residence or study in the Czech Republic (at least 6 months),

AGE EXCEPTION

A driving license for group C may also be granted to a person who has reached the age of 18, while the municipal authority of the municipality with extended powers will limit the driving license to the age of 21 only to drive vehicles:

1) Ministry of the Interior used by the police,

2) Prison services of the Czech Republic,

3) the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic,

4) municipal police,

5) the Fire Rescue Corps of the Czech Republic and fire protection units,

6) customs authorities,

7) during a test drive in connection with their repair or maintenance.

WHAT DOES TRAINING LOOK LIKE ?

TRAINING LENGTH
The length of the training depends mainly on the applicant's abilities and, given that they are Group B holders, the training can be completed in a month, if the applicant adapts to the training and teaching regime. One lesson lasts 45 minutes. The candidate orders the driving hours according to his / her time possibilities, he / she can complete a maximum of two practical hours a day.
26 HOURS OF PRACTICE

18 hours: driving training ( 3 etaps )

4 hours:practical maintenance training

4 hours: practical medical training

 

11 HOURS OF THEORY

3 hour: teaching regulations on vehicle operation

3 hour: lessons on vehicle operation and maintenance

3 hours: teaching driving theory and principles of safe driving

1 hour: teaching medical training

1 hour: repetition and examination

Consultations

EXAM

The final exams are usually taken at the driving school's headquarters. The applicant must have a valid ID card, driver's license - if he holds a + municipal fee.

The exams are divided into 3 parts:

  • test of regulations on traffic on roads (1 test)
  • practical driving test
  • vehicle control and maintenance test (3 questions)
